Susan Dabney Luxon was born and raised in Richmond, Kentucky where she attended Madison Central High School and EKU. After graduating from law school in 1994, it was important to Susan to return to her hometown of Richmond to set up her law practice. Susan has practiced law in Richmond since 1994 where her practice has always been devoted to helping the injured and disabled of Central and Eastern Kentucky. For over 25 years, Susan has dedicated her practice to helping victims of workplace injuries and disabled individuals obtain the benefits they deserve in their workers’ compensation and social security claims. Susan has hundreds and hundreds of satisfied clients who are a testament to her hard work and dedication to her clients’ cases.
Susan has experience handling the most serious workers’ compensation cases, including amputations, head injuries, spinal injuries, injuries from work-related car accidents, and death cases. Susan has the expertise to evaluate your workers’ compensation case to determine if you may have a third-party case (including a case against the manufacturer of a defective product or machine) OR whether you might be entitled to additional compensation for your employer’s violation of a safety rule or regulation.
Susan is affiliated with numerous professional groups, including the Madison County Bar Association (President 2000-2001), the Kentucky Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, as well as the Kentucky Workers’ Association, a group of lawyers who represent only injured workers.
Susan graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1991 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. She received her law degree in 1994 from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law where she was a member of the Journal of Family Law.
Susan and her husband Robert, also a Richmond native, reside in Richmond with their twins, Thomas and Julia. In her spare time, Susan is busy following her children’s school activities, including basketball, soccer, golf and piano.
